Why did you choose neuropsychology as a profession?
Like many people, I have been interested in the subject of psychology since I was much younger, and I have always wanted to work in a helping profession. My interest in neuropsychology developed at the outset of graduate school, as I was drawn to the specialty’s focus on neuroscience, brain-behavior relationships, and quantitative reasoning and analysis in the broader context of understanding each person individually.
Why did you choose to work at Neurocognitive Specialty Group?
I have previously trained and worked with many of NSG’s doctors and have always had great respect for them personally and professionally. When I made the decision to leave the VA and enter private practice, NSG was the natural choice, as they provided an opportunity to surround myself with individuals I knew would continue to challenge and support my work and development as a neuropsychologist.
