Neuropsychological Services in Alpharetta & North Atlanta

Our Clinic

Neurocognitive Specialty Group’s Atlanta neuropsychology clinic is located in Alpharetta and serves patients and referring providers across Fulton, Cobb, Cherokee, Forsyth, Gwinnett, and DeKalb counties and the surrounding metro area. The clinic is directed by Dr. Alex Alverson and staffed by Dr. Farah Goheer. Part-time members of our neuropsychology staff include Drs. Callie Dunn, Michelle Jackson, Stephanie Salinas, and Leslie Taylor.

Clinical Evaluations

Neurologists, neurosurgeons, psychiatrists, and primary care physicians refer patients to our Alpharetta office for neuropsychological evaluation of dementia and age-related cognitive change, traumatic brain injury, stroke, brain tumors, and ADHD. We also complete pre-surgical evaluations for epilepsy and for Parkinson’s disease, including candidacy assessment for deep brain stimulator implantation.

Medicolegal Evaluations

Counsel, insurers, third-party administrators, and government agencies retain the Atlanta clinic for civil independent medical examinations, records-only reviews, Defense Base Act claims, sports concussion and NFL litigation, and FAA and HIMS evaluations. NSG bills hourly and accepts no letters of protection and no contingency-based fee arrangements, so the fee never depends on the outcome of the case.
