Our Missouri City Clinic

Neurocognitive Specialty Group’s Missouri City clinic is located at 7070 Knights Court, minutes from Sugar Land and the Fort Bend County medical corridor, serving the fast-growing communities southwest of Houston.

The clinic is directed by Dr. Robert L. Collins, a board-certified clinical neuropsychologist and co-founder of NSG, who has practiced in the Houston area for two decades, trained at the Michael E. DeBakey VA Medical Center and UT MD Anderson Cancer Center, and has completed more than 1,000 complex medical file reviews and independent examinations for plaintiff and defense counsel, insurers, and government agencies. He practices alongside Dr. Brian Miller, a clinical neuropsychologist who also serves on the faculty of the Menninger Department of Psychiatry at Baylor College of Medicine and offers select weekend appointments.

Our office is a ground-floor suite with parking directly in front. We see patients Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, with select weekend evaluation appointments available, and scheduling is handled by NSG’s central team at our nearby League City headquarters.

Neuropsychological & Psychological Evaluations

We provide comprehensive neuropsychological evaluations and psychological assessments for adults and older adults, addressing memory, attention and concentration, language, visual-spatial skills, and executive functioning. We accept referrals from neurologists, psychiatrists, primary care physicians, psychologists, and other healthcare professionals for:

• Memory loss, Alzheimer’s disease and other dementias, and age-related cognitive change
• Traumatic brain injury (TBI) and post-concussion concerns
• Stroke and other neurological conditions
• Epilepsy and seizure disorders, including pre-surgical candidacy evaluations
• Parkinson’s disease and other movement disorders
• ADHD in adults

Every evaluation includes a records review, a clinical interview, standardized testing with a doctoral-level provider, and a detailed written report with diagnostic impressions and practical recommendations — delivered to you and your referring provider. Most testing appointments take between three and five hours, and results are available within a week.

Medicolegal Evaluations

We perform independent medical examinations relating to personal injury and disability claims, disability determination and return-to-work questions, Defense Base Act and Longshore matters, consultation and record reviews, and expert witness testimony. We are retained by attorneys — plaintiff and defense — insurers, third-party administrators, and government agencies. NSG does not accept letters of protection or contingency-based fee arrangements. All work is billed hourly, regardless of case outcome.

Telehealth Across 40+ States

Through PSYPACT, our Missouri City providers offer telehealth appointments to patients in more than 40 states — including pre-screening consultations, clinical interviews, follow-up visits, feedback sessions, and select assessments via secure, HIPAA-compliant video. Areas We Serve

Our Missouri City clinic serves Fort Bend County and southwest Houston, including Sugar Land, Stafford, Richmond, Rosenberg, Sienna, Fresno, Pearland, and the communities along Highway 6 and Fort Bend Parkway. We regularly see patients referred from the Texas Medical Center, the Fort Bend County medical corridor, and physicians throughout greater Houston. Patients coming from central Houston should allow about 30 minutes via US-59 or Fort Bend Parkway.

What to Expect at Your Appointment

Plan to arrive a few minutes early with your photo ID, insurance card, a list of current medications, and any prior imaging, neurology, or psychological records you have. Wear your glasses or hearing aids if you use them, take your medications as usual unless your physician has said otherwise, and eat breakfast — testing can be mentally demanding and we want your best effort. You’re welcome to bring a family member; we often ask a spouse or adult child a few questions, and they can wait comfortably in our lobby during testing.

Do I need a physician referral?
Yes — clinical evaluations require a physician referral. If you don’t have one yet, call us anyway: we can schedule your appointment and contact your provider to request the referral.

How long does a neuropsychological evaluation take?
Most patients are with us for three to five hours, including the interview and testing.

Do you offer weekend appointments?
Yes — select weekend evaluation appointments are available with Dr. Miller. Call our scheduling team to check availability.

Will my insurance cover the evaluation?
We accept most major insurance plans, including Medicare, Blue Cross Blue Shield of Texas, Aetna, Optum United Healthcare, Evernorth Cigna, Humana, TRICARE West/TriWest, and others — call us to verify your benefits, or see our billing & insurance page. Forensic and medicolegal work is retained and billed separately and is never billed to health insurance.

When will I get my results?
You’ll receive a feedback session and a written report within a week of testing. Your referring physician receives the report as well.
