Telehealth Screening

NSG offers telehealth screenings and consultations by secure, HIPAA-compliant video across more than 40 states through PSYPACT, the interstate compact for psychology practice. Telehealth is how many patients start with NSG: a convenient first appointment to review concerns, determine whether a full evaluation is needed, and plan the right next step, whether that is remote follow-up or in-person testing at one of our eight clinics.

Telehealth Services

  • Pre-evaluation screening consultations
  • Clinical interviews and history reviews
  • Feedback sessions to review evaluation results
  • Select assessment measures appropriate for remote administration
  • Triage and scheduling for in-person neuropsychological testing
  • Care coordination across our eight-clinic network

How Telehealth Works at NSG

A telehealth visit at NSG includes three steps:

  • Simple Scheduling Call our office and we match you with the right clinician and appointment type, then send a secure video link.
  • Secure Video Visit Meet with an NSG clinician from home for your screening, interview, or feedback session over an encrypted connection.
  • Clear Next Steps Leave the visit with a plan: remote follow-up, in-person testing at the nearest NSG clinic, or a referral summary for your physician.

About PSYPACT

NSG psychologists hold the Authority to Practice Interjurisdictional Telepsychology (APIT) granted through PSYPACT, the interstate compact that allows qualified psychologists to provide telepsychology services to residents of participating states. That authority is what lets us see patients by secure video in more than 40 states, whether or not we have a clinic nearby. Practising under PSYPACT means the same licensure and ethical standards apply to your telehealth appointment as to an in-person visit at one of our clinics. You can read more about the compact and see the current list of participating states at psypact.gov.

What You Need

A computer, tablet, or smartphone with a camera and microphone, a reliable internet connection, a quiet private space, a photo ID, and a list of current medications. Full neuropsychological test batteries are administered in person; your telehealth clinician will tell you if your situation calls for in-clinic testing.

Common Questions

Telehealth patients often ask:

  • Can my evaluation be completed entirely online?
  • Which states does NSG serve by telehealth?
  • Is a telehealth screening right for my situation?
  • What technology do I need for my visit?
  • Will my insurance cover a telehealth appointment?
  • How do I transition from telehealth to in-person testing?

Telehealth screenings connect you to NSG clinicians and, when needed, to in-person testing at any of our eight clinics. To schedule, call (888) 606-0086.
