Our Clinic

Neurocognitive Specialty Group’s Houston clinic is located in League City, serving Clear Lake, Friendswood, Galveston, the Texas Medical Center, and the industrial and maritime employers along the Houston Ship Channel. The clinic is directed by Dr. Nicholas Wisdom. Dr. Jonathan Fillauer is a neuropsychologist, and Dr. Amy Cuellar and Dr. Laura Mai are clinical psychologists. Dr. Wisdom and Dr. Fillauer are board certified in clinical neuropsychology by the American Board of Professional Psychology, and Dr. Cuellar is board certified in serious mental illness psychology.

League City is also home to NSG’s corporate office and central scheduling team, which coordinates referrals, records, and appointments across all eight clinics.

Clinical Evaluations

We accept referrals from neurologists, psychiatrists, and primary care physicians for traumatic brain injury, dementia and age-related cognitive change, epilepsy including pre-surgical evaluation, stroke, and ADHD. We also complete psychodiagnostic evaluations on psychiatric referral, and psychological evaluations supporting gender-affirming medical care.

Therapy

Individual therapy for mood disorders, anxiety disorders, and post-traumatic stress, offered in person and by telehealth.

Medicolegal Evaluations

Civil independent medical examinations, records-only reviews, Defense Base Act claims, sports concussion and NFL litigation, FAA and HIMS evaluations, pre-employment law enforcement evaluations, and criminal evaluations addressing competency to stand trial, Miranda-related questions, and sentencing mitigation. We are retained by counsel, insurers, third-party administrators, and government agencies. NSG does not accept letters of protection or contingency-based fee arrangements. All work is billed hourly, regardless of case outcome.
