Clinical Psychologist
Dr. Laura Mai joined Neurocognitive Specialty Group in 2025. She earned her bachelor’s degree in psychology at Clemson University in 2015. She then completed her PhD in clinical health psychology at East Carolina University in 2021. She went on to complete an APA-accredited internship in clinical psychology, followed by a residency in trauma and anxiety disorders at the Michael E. DeBakey VA Medical Center in Houston, TX. She has been an independently practicing psychologist since 2022. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family (dogs included), as well as traveling and trying new food.
