Clinical Psychologist
Dr. Leslie Taylor joined Neurocognitive Specialty Group in 2025. She earned her bachelor’s degree in psychology with an emphasis in neuroscience from The University of Georgia in 2015, and earned her Ph.D. in Counseling and Health Services Psychology from the University of Missouri-Kansas City in 2021. She completed an APA-accredited internship in clinical psychology with the Lt. Col. Luke Weathers, Jr. VA Medical Center, and completed a post-doctoral fellowship in Trauma and Anxiety Disorders with the Michael E. DeBakey VA Medical Center in Houston, Texas. Prior to working with Neurocognitive Specialty Group, she worked as a staff psychologist in the PTSD Clinic at the Michael E. DeBakey VA Medical Center. During this time, she published peer reviewed research related to PTSD assessment and assisted in developing the Accelerated PTSD Clinical Team, providing intensive outpatient therapy for Houston-area Veterans. Dr. Taylor specializes in the assessment and evidence-based treatment of PTSD, OCD, and anxiety disorders. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family, hiking, and weight lifting.
