Clinic Director, Clinical Neuropsychologist
Dr. Sullivan-Baca is a board-certified clinical neuropsychologist who joined Neurocognitive Specialty Group in 2023. She completed her master’s degree in applied cognition and neuroscience at the University of Texas at Dallas (UTD) in 2012 and her PhD in clinical psychology at the University of North Texas (UNT) in 2019. She then completed her clinical neuropsychology postdoctoral fellowship at the Michael E. DeBakey VA Medical Center in Houston in 2021 and has been board certified in Clinical Neuropsychology by the American Board of Professional Psychology since 2022. Since entering professional practice, she has held adjunct professor/lecturer roles at UNT and UTD and has supervised graduate students from UNT and UT Southwestern.
Dr. Sullivan-Baca has extensive clinical experience in both inpatient and outpatient settings evaluating patients with mild cognitive impairment/dementia, traumatic brain injury, stroke, movement disorders, and other neurological conditions. She is especially passionate about supporting family members and caregivers, with experience running caregiver support groups and providing compassionate feedback and support for patients’ loved ones.
Dr. Sullivan-Baca’s forensic experience includes conducting evaluations as part of the NFL and NCAA Concussion Settlements and the Defense Base Act (DBA) as well as fitness-for-duty and personal injury litigation IMEs. Dr. Sullivan-Baca is an FAA/HIMS-trained neuropsychologist and a Wingman Med Affiliate, with experience performing evaluations according to all FAA specifications.
In addition to her clinical and forensic work, Dr. Sullivan-Baca is a nationally recognized leader in the area of women’s neurocognitive health. Her accomplishments in this area include chairing APA’s Women in Neuropsychology (WIN) committee (2025 – 2026), editing the 2025 book Neuropsychology of Women: Considerations for Clinical Care and Research, editing a special issue of The Clinical Neuropsychologist entitled “Women as Participants in Neuropsychological Research,” and chairing multiple symposia at national conferences.
